Membership Terms

Our memberships are designed around monthly cadence: the rhythm at which your skin actually responds to consistent care.

These Membership Terms apply to every Lemon & Honey Day Spa membership, including Intro Skin Lab, Skin Lab 1, Skin Lab 2, Busy Bee, Lemon, Honey, and Royal. An exception for a specific membership applies only where it is expressly stated in writing in these Terms or in that membership’s enrollment agreement. Where no exception is stated, these Terms apply in full. No other exceptions apply.

Enrollment

You can enroll in person at the spa or purchase a membership online. A credit card is required on file. There is no enrollment fee. Memberships begin on the date of enrollment and renew automatically each month.

Upon enrollment, your first membership payment is charged. You may use that payment the same day or reserve it for a future visit.

The current $75 first-month sign-up rate for Intro Skin Lab is available only at the time of first visit and cannot be applied retroactively.

Billing & payment

Recurring membership payments are billed on the first of every month, not on the date you enrolled. If the card on file declines for three consecutive months, the membership is automatically cancelled, all member benefits end immediately, and all unused credits are forfeited. We will make every effort to reach you, but it is your responsibility to make sure we have a valid card on file for your membership payments.

Sales tax does not apply to membership fees in California. Tip is not included and is left at the guest's discretion at each visit.

Credit rollover & expiration

Unused monthly credits always roll over for as long as your membership is active. The one exception is Skin Lab 2: its membership benefits expire 60 days after they are issued. Expired benefits do not roll over and cannot be reinstated. Intro Skin Lab and Skin Lab 1 benefits do not expire while your membership is active.

Credits cannot be combined with paid promotions, package discounts, or third-party gift cards unless explicitly stated in a current promotion.

Using your credit

Intro Skin Lab: Credit applies to one Skin Lab facial per month at the listed Skin Lab service tier. Cannot be applied to other services.

Busy Bee, Lemon, Honey, Royal: Monthly spa credit can be applied toward any service on our menu: facials, waxing, massage, body treatments, peels, or HydraFacial. If your credit exceeds the cost of the service, the remainder rolls forward. If the service costs more than your credit, you pay the difference at your member discount rate.

Pausing your membership

You may pause your membership for up to two consecutive months per calendar year. To pause, give the front desk written notice (email is fine) at least 10 days before your next billing date. Pause requests take 10 days to process. While paused, you do not lose existing credits, but new credits do not accrue. Resume billing automatically starts after the pause period or at your written request.

When a membership returns from a 60-day pause, the first monthly payment must go through. If that payment is missed, the membership is automatically cancelled, all benefits are lost, and all unused credits are forfeited immediately.

Cancellation

Memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment from your enrollment date. After your commitment period, you may cancel at any time by emailing membership@lemonhoneydayspa.com. Cancellations take 10 days to process from the date of your request.

When you cancel your membership yourself, any unused credits remain valid for three months after the cancellation date. After that, credits expire and cannot be redeemed. This does not apply when a membership is automatically cancelled for missed payments. In that case, unused credits are forfeited immediately.

Price changes

We reserve the right to adjust membership pricing with 30 days' notice to active members. Current members are typically grandfathered into existing rates for a transition period, but this is not guaranteed indefinitely.

Sharing & transferability

Memberships are tied to a single individual and are not transferable. Credits cannot be shared with friends or family unless explicitly noted in a tier benefit (Royal membership includes a friends-and-family gift).

Membership and gift cards

Gift cards may be applied toward your first month of any membership tier. After that, monthly billing reverts to the standard payment method on file.

Member-only perks

Active members receive priority booking, retail discounts (10-12% by tier), service discounts (20-30% by tier), early access to seasonal offers, and invitations to member-only events. Perks may evolve over time and are not guaranteed indefinitely.
