Gentle on purpose

The lightest massage on our menu, and one of the most effective.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle, specific technique that moves lymph fluid toward the nodes where it is filtered. It is nothing like deep tissue: the pressure is feather-light and the rhythm matters more than the force. We use it for post-surgical swelling, travel and salt bloat, chronic puffiness, sluggish circulation, and simply feeling heavy and inflamed.

Add 15 or 30 minutes of Lymphatic Drainage to any massage on the massage menu, or book it as part of The Nurture Massage, where it is built into the protocol. For the face, see our lymphatic drainage facial.

Why here

Trained technique, real direction.

Lymphatic drainage only works when the strokes follow the lymphatic map. Our therapists are trained in manual lymphatic technique and pair it with dry brushing and cupping when the body needs more help getting fluid moving.

What makes it different

Light hands, lighter you.

Feather-light by design. If it feels like a deep massage, it is not lymphatic drainage. The pressure is barely more than the weight of a hand.

The map is the method. Strokes move toward the lymph nodes at the neck, armpits, and groin, in order. Direction is everything.

Pair it with movement. Dry brushing and cupping get stubborn fluid going before the drainage work.

Post-surgery friendly. Once your surgeon clears you, lymphatic drainage can shorten the swollen, sore phase of recovery.

Frequently asked

Good to know.

What does lymphatic drainage massage do?

It uses light, rhythmic, directional strokes to move lymph fluid toward the nodes where it is filtered. The result is less swelling and puffiness, better circulation, and a lighter, less inflamed feeling in the body.

Is lymphatic drainage massage good after surgery?

Often yes, once your surgeon clears you for massage. Lymphatic drainage can ease post-surgical swelling and bruising and support recovery. Tell us about your procedure and timing at booking so we can plan the session safely.

Does lymphatic massage hurt?

No. It is the lightest massage on our menu. The pressure is gentle and the rhythm is slow. Most clients find it deeply relaxing and often feel lighter and less puffy immediately afterward.

How much is a lymphatic drainage massage in Orange County?

At Lemon & Honey you can add lymphatic drainage to any massage for $65 (15 minutes) or $140 (30 minutes). The Nurture Massage, which includes lymphatic drainage, is $295 for 85 minutes. Members save 20% to 30%.

How often should I get lymphatic drainage?

For post-surgical recovery, your surgeon will usually suggest a short series over a few weeks. For general puffiness, travel, or maintenance, monthly works well, paired with dry brushing and good hydration at home.
