From Irvine, the 55 north is the direct route: exit at Lincoln Avenue, head east, and you are at North Wanda Road within minutes. From Woodbridge, Northwood, and the Irvine Spectrum it is about 20 to 25 minutes; from the UCI and Newport Coast side allow closer to 30. The 5 to the 55 works just as well from the south.
