You talk first. Your skin expert asks what your skin does on a bad week, what you use at home, and what you actually want. Then we read your barrier before deciding on any active. The treatment is built around what your skin needs that day, and you leave with a clear return date and honest homecare guidance.
Ten minutes. The first visit includes intake paperwork, and rushing it means we get a worse picture of your skin. Ten quiet minutes beforehand also changes how the treatment feels.
Very little. Skip retinol and acids for about three days and come in with your skin as it normally is. Do not exfoliate the night before. Makeup is fine, since we cleanse thoroughly as the first step.
