What's in this policy
We've built Lemon & Honey to feel like a boutique day spa, not a chain spa. The policies below exist so we can give every guest the same focused, personalized experience. Reading them before your first visit means a smoother appointment from the moment you walk in.
Arrival & check-in
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. We use this time to seat you, complete any required intake or consent forms, offer a beverage, and review your treatment goals so your provider can start on time and use the full appointment for treatment.
Our address is 1421 North Wanda Road, Suite 200, City of Orange, CA 92867. We're on the second floor with free parking on site.
Preparing for your appointment
For most facials, arrive with clean skin and minimal makeup. For HydraFacials and chemical peels, please avoid retinoids, strong actives, and harsh exfoliants for 48 hours before your appointment. For waxing, hair should be at least 1/4 inch long.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 48 hours before any peel or advanced treatment. Disclose any new medications or recent procedures at booking so we can adjust your protocol accordingly.
Late arrivals
We respect your time and the time of every guest. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your provider may need to shorten your service to honor the next appointment, and the original price will still apply. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may be rescheduled and counted as a no-show under our cancellation policy.
Guests & children
Our space is designed for a quiet, restorative environment. We respectfully ask that guests not bring children, additional family members, or friends to their appointments unless they are also receiving a service. For services involving minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present at consultation and sign all consent forms.
Health, allergies & medical disclosures
Your safety comes first. At booking and at check-in we'll ask about:
- Active skin conditions, breakouts, sunburn, or recent procedures
- Allergies to ingredients (especially essential oils, fragrance, latex, nuts)
- Current medications, including retinoids, blood thinners, and Accutane
- Pregnancy or recent surgery
Please disclose anything relevant. Some services have contraindications we need to know about to keep you safe.
Pregnancy & postpartum
We welcome pregnant and postpartum clients with a few considerations:
- Prenatal massage requires booking with a specialist trained in prenatal protocols. Mention pregnancy at booking.
- Chemical peels, microneedling, and certain advanced treatments are not performed during pregnancy.
- Most of our facials are pregnancy-safe with adjusted product selection. Tell us at booking and we'll customize accordingly.
Gratuity
Gratuity is appreciated but never required. Customary tipping in the boutique spa industry ranges from 15-25%. Tips can be added at checkout in cash, by card, or through the Boulevard app. 100% of tips go directly to your provider.
Payment methods
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Boulevard gift cards, and cash. A valid credit card is required on file for all bookings to honor our cancellation policy. We do not accept checks or third-party gift cards.
Phones & quiet environment
To preserve a restful environment for every guest, please silence your phone in the treatment room and use a quiet voice in the reception area. We understand life happens and you may need to be reachable; just step into the hallway if you need to take a call.
Refunds & service guarantees
Services are non-refundable once performed. If you are unhappy with a treatment, please tell us at checkout or within 7 days of your appointment. We'll work with you to make it right, whether that's a complimentary touch-up, a credit toward a future service, or a product exchange.
Retail products may be exchanged within 14 days if unopened and in original packaging. We do not offer cash refunds on opened skincare products for hygiene reasons, but we can issue a spa credit.
Right to refuse service
For the safety and comfort of our team and other guests, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service in cases of inappropriate behavior, untreated communicable illness, or contraindications to treatment. We will always do so respectfully and offer alternatives where appropriate.
