Choosing a booster is genuinely one of the more enjoyable decisions on our menu. It has the same energy as picking the restaurant for a first date, all that pleasant deliberation over what the evening should feel like, except the stakes are considerably better. No small talk that goes nowhere. No wondering whether you have made a terrible mistake by the time the appetizers arrive.
Instead of a night out, choose a night in. Add a booster to your next HydraFacial and you are looking at zero regrets.
First, what a booster actually is
Every HydraFacial follows the same three steps. Vortex exfoliation cleanses and peels. Painless vacuum extraction clears debris while infusing hydration. Then the third step fuses and protects, driving active ingredients into skin that has just been exfoliated and is unusually receptive.
A booster is what you can add at that third step. It is optional, and it is the part that makes the treatment specific to your face rather than generally good for everyone's.
The device does the work regardless. The booster decides what that work is aimed at.
Britenol
For dark spots, sun damage, and uneven tone. Alpha-arbutin and vitamin C work on discoloration and even things out while your barrier stays supported.
Add it if you are tracking hyperpigmentation, post-inflammatory marks left behind by old breakouts, or the sun spots that seem to appear every September. This is the most-requested booster from autumn onward, and the timing is not an accident. Summer damage surfaces now, and cooler months are when it is safest to treat it.
Worth knowing: brightening is cumulative. One session will not shift melasma. A series across a season genuinely will.
DermaBuilder
For fine lines and texture. A peptide complex that plumps and smooths, so skin reads firmer and more even.
Add it if your barrier is already steady and you would rather stay ahead of early aging than correct something established. This is the quietly smart monthly choice, the one people add when nothing is wrong and they intend to keep it that way.
Regen GF
For mature or stressed skin. Growth factors support your own collagen and elastin and help clear out irritants, so skin looks smoother and more resilient over time.
Add it if you are rebuilding tone and firmness rather than chasing an immediate glow. Skin that has been through something, a hard season, a stressful year, a long stretch of being deprioritized, responds particularly well here.
This one is a series booster rather than a single-session booster. The word doing the work is resilient, and resilience is built, not applied.
It is also the booster included in our Ultimate HydraFacial Experience, so if this is the profile you have been reading and nodding along to, that is the level to book.
Omorovicza Advanced Skin Renewal
Our prestige booster, co-created with Omorovicza. A mineral-rich Healing Concentrate that drives deep hydration and real radiance.
Add it if there is an occasion, or if you simply want the most elevated version of the treatment. This is the one for the week of a wedding, a milestone birthday, or anything that will be photographed.
Circadia ProTec Plus
For dry, sensitive, or stressed skin that needs defending. Six forms of hyaluronic acid plus antioxidants flood skin with hydration, calm redness, and shield against daily environmental damage.
Add it if your skin is reactive, your barrier is under strain, or you have just come through a Santa Ana week wondering why everything suddenly stings.
If you are torn between this and a brightening or peptide booster and your skin is currently unhappy, this is your answer. Settle the barrier before asking your skin to do anything more ambitious.
How we help you choose
You do not have to decide in advance. Your skin expert performs a full analysis at the start of your appointment and will tell you honestly which booster suits your skin that day, or whether you are better served putting the money toward treatment time instead.
Skin changes week to week. The right booster in June is frequently not the right one in October, which is part of what makes the decision fun rather than a commitment you are locked into.
We have performed over 10,000 HydraFacials in our City of Orange studio, so this is well-charted territory for us.
Which HydraFacial to pair it with
HydraFacial MD, thirty minutes, $225. The core protocol, no downtime. Add a booster of your choosing.
Deluxe HydraFacial, forty-five minutes, $240. Includes a booster, firming or brightening, LED light therapy, and facial massage, finished with collagen serum and SPF.
Deluxe with Facial Massage, sixty minutes, $270. The Deluxe extended with fifteen minutes of the L&H Sculpt Facial Massage through the jaw, cheeks, and brow.
Dermaplaning + HydraFacial, sixty minutes, $350. Dermaplaning first, then the full protocol on freshly resurfaced skin. A booster is a worthwhile addition here, since freshly dermaplaned skin absorbs beautifully.
Ultimate HydraFacial Experience, ninety minutes, $399. Gua Sha sculpting, advanced masks, serums, and the Regen GF booster built in.
Our signature lymphatic finishing, manual or LED, comes with Deluxe and above. That is the step that produces visible lift and depuffing, and it is the one most studios skip.
Now, how much choosing you actually get depends on which level you book, and it is worth knowing before you arrive with your heart set on something.
With the HydraFacial MD and Dermaplaning + HydraFacial, no booster is included, which means the whole list is open to you. This is where you get the full first-date menu.
With the Deluxe and the Deluxe with Facial Massage, a booster is included and the choice is between two: firming or brightening. A shorter menu, but the decision is still yours.
With the Ultimate, the booster is Regen GF, built into the protocol rather than chosen by you. That is rather the point of an experience designed end to end, and it is a deliberate pairing: ninety minutes of Gua Sha sculpting, advanced masks, and serums sits naturally alongside a growth factor booster working on resilience and firmness.
If you have your eye on a particular booster and it is not the one your level includes, say so at booking. We will tell you honestly whether it can be swapped or whether a different level suits you better.
Three honest notes
More is not automatically better. The Ultimate builds its booster into a ninety-minute protocol that supports it. Stacking actives into a thirty-minute treatment does not work the same way.
A booster will not rescue a compromised barrier. If your skin is stinging, tight, or reactive, no serum outruns that. Repair first, enhance second.
The good stuff compounds. Brightening and firming boosters do their real work across a series. One HydraFacial gives you an excellent week. A monthly rhythm changes your skin.
So: night in, booster added, zero regrets.
